SCHOOL FEES

School fees are payable January to December, in advance by the 5th of each month.
November and December are not permitted as notice months.
School Fees are increased annually in January
Deposit – per child
R500.00 – which will be deducted from your first month’s school fees. (If you elect not to enrol after paying the deposit; such deposit will be returned to you)
3mnths to Grade R:
Zebra, Giraffe, Rhino, Elephant, Buffalo and Lion Classes
School Fees – per child per month (1 May 2024 to 30 April 2025)
R2,900.00 per month for Full Day
R2,700.00 per month for Half Day (14h00)
Discount – per month
R300.00 discount for 2 children
R450.00 discount for 3 children
School Fees Discount
We offer a 10% discount on fees paid in full for the year before the end of January.
Fees are divided over a 12 month period. One calendar months written notice, on or before the 1st of the month must be given, prior to taking the child out of Abacus Kids Academy. Failing this, you will be held liable for payment until notice is given (no exceptions will be made). November and December will not be accepted as a notice month.
If your account falls in arrears, your child may not attend School until payment is received in full. This rule will apply from the 6th of each month should your financial obligations not be honoured.
A late payment fee of R200-00 will be charged on outstanding accounts. This late payment fee will be charged each month if your account runs in arrears.
Fees are not refundable for reasons of illness, holidays or any other cause. Should a child not be present at school for any period of time, for whatsoever reason, the monthly fees will still remain due and payable.
ADDITIONAL FEES AND SUPPLIES
Mattress Covers and Winter Blankets:
Each child, who sleeps during sleep-time, is required to have one mattress covers and one winter blankets, which we will supply and have embroidered with their name. These mattress covers and winter blankets will be sent home every Friday afternoon for washing and must please be returned to school every Monday morning.
Infant Class Supplies (3 to 12 months)
Parents are asked to please bring the following supplies to school each day for each child.
- 6 Nappies,
- 3 bottles,
- Dummy/Pacifier (if taken),
- Formula, Milk,
- 2 sets of spare clothing, warm and cool set,
- Bum cream,
- Cream,
- Wet wipes,
- High SPF sun block,
- Special comfort item (if required – such as a blanket, plush toy etc.).
Parents are asked to please bring the following supplies to school for each child for the year, divided up as follows: –

- 1 x small photograph of your child (for the class birthday chart),
- 1 x empty 2ℓ ice-cream container,
- 2 x box tissues (200’s),
- 3 x wet wipes (80’s)
- R100-00 for 1x personalised mattress covers (if required),
Due at the beginning of June:
- 2 x box tissues (200’s),
- 3 x wet wipes (80’s)
- R100-00 for a 1x personalised winter blankets,
Baby/Toddler Class Supplies (13 to 24 months)
